dad..

its times like this where i really miss my dad...watching father daughter dances on youtube.. i stumbled onto it when trying to find cute routines for me and FH to do.. now its 1:30 am and i cant fall asleep... i miss him so much,.

Sorry to hear hun I know those videos can be hard to watch. My dad is still around but we had a falling out so I have a slight idea of what you are going through. Hope you get some sleep tonight.

i know how you feel I grew up not knowing my dad and my grandfather and uncle died when I was sixteen so like you i miss my grandfather and uncle. I can't watch father daughter dances because they too make me cry. I am not doing a father/daughter dance because I don't have a male figure that I am close too and what is why i am walking down the asile alone. So i know how you feel.

I'm so sorry for your loss and understand how hard it is. I lost my parents and understand how seeing or hearing one thing can bring up everything and make it feel as if it was yesterday.
But try and remember that he's still with you just in another way, watching over.

I always listen to this song when I am missing someone, have listened to it three times today, cuz my grandpa died six years ago today

awww!!!!!!! Feel better! I can't even imagine how hard it must be to not have your mom or dad with you .. especially during this whole happy wedding planning time. Sending lots of hugs your way

I can totally relate. FH's mother passed away two years ago and every wedding we've been to since, I bawl when the groom dances with his mother.

Thanks for all the love and support girliess <3 i know im not the only one out there thats facing this.. im lucky to have my grandfather still around.. but my dad was my BEST FRIEND =( and i didnt go to bed yet.. its 1:00 pm. needless to say i took off work today.. after all the drama with fb and loosing my BM and then missing my dad.. i needed a break

aww I understand how hard it is. This wedding stuff makes it worse. Just when you learn to cope with it, all this stuff reminds you. Everytime someone mentions my shower I freak because my mom isn't alive to help with it....or dress shopping...or anything related to the wedding that my friends go with their moms for. Both of FH's parents are alive and he keeps saying 'my parents aren't like your parents.' and I flip out because he says plural.

Trust me, I'm right there with you. Time makes it easier, but there are always going to be triggers.
