Dad has a request..........

to have centerpieces hanging from the ceiling!!!!!!!

Am i alone in thinking thats crazy and that my tables will look bare?! he says candles on the tables centerpieces from up above. I told him i wasnt sure so he goes...........hows 6 foot centerpieces?! ummm...............

that and hes like its so cool to have them up high! Our catering facility has very high ceilings, so either can be done. Is that going to look weird? its like one of the only things dad has requested!

i think they are beautiful.. someone at my RH did that at there wedding and i loved it... however they are $600 a table!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, from the ceilings LOL! I've definitely seen pictures of it done and it looks amazing. They are not way up high, they will still hover above the table where a high cp would be. It's kinda like having a high cp w/o the vase! I don't think your tables will look bare at all. Less cluttered, if anything!

do u have any photos?! or r there any on ur RH's website? i would love to see how much they r!! My florist is like my uncle in a way, i grew up calling him uncle. My flowers are my gift from him so thankfully it will not be much to my family. I believe over a certain price dad will pay for, but im basiaclly at the point where i feel like i should let him have this one thing hes asking for throwing me the whole wedding, i just am quite concerned that my tables will look bare.

ooo so they are really low?! does anyone hit their heads on it?! hmmm that is a good idea with candles all over the tables and flower petals everywhere, maybe with like a few small vases with like calla lillies in the water low down in the vase? what do u think?

First of all, I think that hanging from the ceilings is DOPE!!! I think it would be cool if you did alternating tall cp's and hanging cps.

I'm going to have to vote for ceiling, and then a low arrangement or candles on the table. It really wont look too bare. I only say that bc my friend did the 6 footers at her wedding (I wish I had pics) and #1, they were so high, that you dont actually see them when ur sitting down, and #2, they were kind of scary, it was like walking into a forest haha (dont get me wrong a beautiful, rose forest, but still). JMO

You could definitely do that!! She did hers on what almost looked like a candelabra except at the top it looked like a ball of flowers. I'm terrible at explaining these things lol. What if you did the ceiling ones in one color and the tables in another color? Spice it up I've seen the ceiling ones done also where they drape chiffon across the ceiling (think, wedding circus tent) from centerpiece to centerpiece which was jawdropping!
