I would like to use Daisy's as my primary flower! Someone told me it was too 'Springy' for September....is that true?
Also, does anyone have any pictures of centerpieces or bouquets with Daisy's?
Thanks for your help!!!!!!

Re: Daisy's
i wanted to use daisies as well, i saw a gorgeous picture in martha stewart weddings...when i took it to the florist he said it was unrealistic because daisies don't really hold up in bouquets... so i am doing still a more casual, country feel to the bo-k's, yellow cala lilies, white roses, blue delphinium and green hydrangea... good luck! i love daisies!

Re: Daisy's
Are you thinking of white or yellow daisies? Yellow ones are around in the fall I think...
I am not good at the season thing with flowers.

Re: Daisy's
Ok, I know this is from 30 years ago but my parents wedding was 9-27 & her flowers were white daisys with the yellow center! It worked great! She also had the lilac ones for BM & daisys as the main flowers for her CPs. If I can find a picture I'll try to scan it.

Re: Daisy's
I LOVE daisies! They were my parents flowers and they got married at the end of August. I think that is a great idea!

Re: Daisy's
YOU do what you want to do! Don't feel that it's a spring flower....September could still be warm so it would be fine. If you wanted tulips I would have to say that it might be hard because they're not in season but Daisys are pretty and you should use them.

I don't think daisy's are too springy. Especially if you use yellow ones. Or gerber daisy's come in nice fall colors!

Re: Daisy's
I am doing daisys as well, they are delicate and wild looking at the same time.
I am not doing all daisies though, the pictures below reflect some wild flower daisy type ideas. Also, the pic with individual rose buds will be tiny daisies for my reception.
I am doing and all white and yellow daisy themed wedding next weekend! they are my favorite! i am not doing any other flower just them. Martha Stewart did a daisy wedding featured in a 1997 issue that i bought on ebay and got great pics from! i can't wait to see how it turns out! i will definitely post pics of my bouquets, cps, and the daisy place cards i am doing. if you are interested. daisies in my opinion can be spring, summer or fall. there are many different varieties that grow during these times!
