Dalsimer Florist

Has anyone booked them? I have an appointment with them on Saturday and I'm just wondering what to expect.

Where are you getting married? I know they are on Oheka's referral list. I called them and they were very nice - but $$$. Let me know though - (I may be in the market for a new florist!)

I' m getting married at Temple B'nai Sholom in Rockville Center. Dalsimer was reffered to me by them. I'll let you know how it goes. Any hints on what I should ask considering all of you have been worrying me about florists!!!

I dont' think you will run into any problems with Dalsimer. Ask them how the price is different for tall and low centerpieces. Find out what flowers you can have exactly for your time of year. Make sure you know how many BM's, mothers, ushers, fathers, etc. And if you want a flower girl. They will lead you through everything. I am pretty sure they only do one wedding a day. Make sure that you can see a trial arrangement prior. You'll be fine!

Metphan- Did you also go and see Master's Florist. They were also on the list for Bnai Shalom. If you did, what did you think of them?

haven't seen Masters yet. I'm starting with Dalsimer. Did you meet with Masters?

Re: ABC7077...

I saw Masters last weekend and liked what I saw. I am going to also look at Burtons and Jack and Rose and then try to make a decision. We are not sure if we will be taking 2 out of the three vendors.

I was however impressed by Mike, the owner at Masters.

Dalsimer

Hi Metphan,
I am using Dalsimer for my November wedding. Let me start by saying that Dalsimer did my bat mitvah as well as my siblings bar and bat mitzvahs (and even my parents weddings) So we have known them for years. Aside from that, I think that they are fabulous. (I am really picky) Our temple only allowed us to use Dalsimer or Stefan's. We looked at Stefan's too and they were fine and they would have probably done a beautiful job (in fact Stefan's did my fiance's brother's wedding - which was lovely). But Dalsimer is a little bit of a smaller operation and I didn't get that factory feel. In addition, I didn't see the same centerpieces that you see everywhere else. I really wanted something a little bit different. They also are really creative. We met with David he is Mike's (the owners son). David was great and really understood what I was conceptualizing in my mind. In addition he was so patient and he knew how to perfectly appease my mom and I (because we totally did not agree about the flowers). I am very confident using them. I must say though that we are spending an outrageous amount on these flowers(we also went a bit overboard). If you want more specifics, you can e-mail me at [email protected]

Good Luck
