Re: damn another problem
Honestly, The cheapest months are Dec-Marc. I heard that the Fall can be pricey because of the desired weather. Maybe a winter wedding would be beautiful. Your families can see Christmastime in NY. That would be awesome!

You would also need to worry if your vendors are available if you change to the summer months. I know Duet books very quickly.

Re: damn another problem
awww good luck with this, I would call the RH right away and tell the situation, they might be considerate of everything and just switch to the next date closest to the march date you had without jacking up the price!!
I hope everything works out

Re: damn another problem
Did you talk to your catering hall, they may work something out for you. At some places April is the same price as March. And the summer months are a little cheaper then Sept and Oct months. I'm sure everything will work out. Also you may save money doing it on Easter or Palm Sunday, I think believe Easter is April 12 next year. Good luck!!!

Aww man gisell I hope all works out. FH is having the same issue with fam in haiti as well. I told him to get a jump start on the visas now cause I don't want to be in the same situtation changing dates. Question for you-- Did you have to send a copy of your invites to INS? I haven't even designed my STD's and FH is saying we need the invites as proof of the wedding..

Re: damn another problem
April and May you could probably get away with slightly cheaper prices. But August is right in the middle of the 'busy' aka more expensive season.
The cheapest months from I've seen are Jan-March. From June-October are the most popular and therefore more money.
But price around and see what you can get. Afternoon's are usually cheaper. Also a Thursday, Friday or Sunday will be less than a Saturday night.
Good luck!

Re: damn another problem
i'm getting married in May and there's only a five dollar difference from April...so i stuck with May. Depends on where you go...if you want the beach scene it's going to be more money during the summer, but do some research...
