Dance Lessons

My FH's friend is getting dance lessons for us as an engagement present. Has anyone taken or heard about lessons that were good in the nassau or queens area?

I go to arthur murray in bayside. They are really nice!! Not intimidating at all. We are paying close to $600 for 12 lessons.
