Any suggestions for dance lessons around nassau and western suffolk counties? I want to surprise my fiance for his birthday. He is worried about dancing at our wedding.

We just started @ Dance Obsession in Farmingdale on Hempstead Tpke. We love it!!! The instructors are a ton of fun, we learned so much already!!! I highly recommend them.

We did Arthur Murray in Bayshore. We enjoyed it and the dance came out great. Goodluck!

We went to Arthur Murray in Pt Jeff Station and felt so-so. The instructor was great, but I'm not sure if we can afford. The price is really high for our budgets. Anyone know privately, maybe cheaper priced lessons?

its 631-665-1766. We worked with Joel for our private lessons and he was great, but had other instructors for the group classes and they were awesome too.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I called Arthur Murray in Bayshore...very nice....is there an instructor you would recommend? They quoted $200 for five 45 min lessons.....Thanks.

You can't go wrong with any of them, but since we worked with Joel the most I would say him if you can get him. Let me know how it goes!

Part One: Offering four group lessons at the Bronx Museum of the Arts over the summer. These are free and is open to all engaged couples. The dates are July 15 & 29 and August 5 & 12, all Thursdays from 6:30 – 9 pm. Free.
Part Two: Offering a private lesson package to two couples who are marrying in the Bronx—that includes Riverdale. Free.
