There is another post on this recently - just do a search.
Im taking lessons with a great instructor. Definitely allow yourself several months AT LEAST. My instructor tells me all these horror stories about brides& grooms showing up 3 weeks before their wedding to learn to dance. It just doesn't work that way.
But lessons are incredibly fun (although expensive) and so worth every cent.

went to arthur murray 6 privat/4 group/4 party for >$600
they were well worth it!! all our guests were very impressed!!!
