Danfords?

Danfords?

Has anyone checked out Danfords in Port Jeff? I love the location but I am wondering what the price is like? I am having around 150 ppl and I would like to keep it around $110. Before I take the long dive there I want to know if its even worth it. Any other location ideas?

I did. I think it would ax at 150. Nice town and right on the water. But might be a little tight. Hth!

its going to be really tight for you. the location is really pretty though.

If you're looking for something on the north shore you might want to check out WaterView Club or Crescent Beach Club in Bayville. WaterView is definitely in your price range ($80-$120) and 150 people would probably be very comfortable there. I'm not sure about Crescent Beach Club but it's right up the road and it might be worth the trip.

Also, Captain Bills is in your price range but it's on the South Shore. I'm not sure if you had a preference for location.

We stayed there for our friend's wedding. I remember it being expensive though but very nice! Beds were comfy!

For a Sat in the summer the price was more than $110 and the layout is very strange. 150 would be way too tight I went to look at it and if I recall she said 120 people max.

Also take a look at the Harbor Club in Huntington (right on the water just like Danford's).

I went to check it out. I thought it was pretty and different, liked the hotel being there too, but like others say I really cannot see how that many people can fit in there.

The Harbor Club is really nice! I've been to a couple weddings there.

I'm not sure what the price in the summer would be, but check out Lombardi's on the Sound-- its also in Port Jeff, and has a GORGEOUS view!

also Lombardis is much bigger- i think they can accomodate up to like 240 people or so
