Have you tried the Da Vinci syrups? If so where do you buy them?

Re: Danielle&Scott...Question
I tried them. I got hazelnut and irish creme sampler bottles at the diet shop in the lobby of all 4 sports and fitness gym in Islip.
They have small bottles of one or two servings or larger bottles. I didnt like it, but I'm not much of a coffee drinker. Ever since I started Atkins I've wanted a Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha. Not a potato, pasta, bread. I want a starbucks drink. Weird, considering I would only have about one every 3 months.
Anyway - I got the syrup in the hopes of putting some of it in my coffee at work and satisfying my craving... well, unfortunately it didnt work out as I had planned.. it just tasted weird to me. Not like irish creme, not like anything much. Maybe if I was a bigger coffee drinker I would have liked it. GIve it a try, a sampler bottle was only like 1.50. Some people swear by the stuff!
I know they have other flavors that are more soda like that you can mix with soda water - but I really didnt intend on doing that because I found Dr. Jones Sugar Free Soda and that tastes great without the trouble of mixing.

Hmmmm...thanks for the honest opinion. I think it would be a better idea if I get the smaller bottles first. I've read about people using it in recipes too so that's why I was interested - I'm not much of a coffee drinker. I'll let you know what I come up with. Iheard that you can buy them at TXMaxx and Marshall's for about $6 for the large bottle - people seem to go crazy for it.

Re: Danielle&Scott...Question
So I wandered into to TJMaxx on 6th Avenue yesterday and walked out with three bottles:
French Vanilla Caramel Almond
There were a bunch of recipes on the low carb site that make use of these syrups. On Saturday I'm going to make the low cheesecake that Danielle&Scott posted for easter. I have these cute little mini springform pans so I'm going to do some experimenting. I'm going to make a few plain cheesecakes and two with the syrups included in the mix. I'm anxious to try the caramel!

Re: Danielle&Scott...Question
The cheesecakes were great!!!! Thanks for the recipe! I used the syrups to substitute for the vanilla extract and they were yummy - although the vanilla extract makes it taste more like regular cheesecake so I'm going to stick to that.
It's amazing how this tastes exactly the same - although it makes sense since the only change is from sugar to splenda. It's so great to have cheesecake. I even had a piece for breakfast this morning - oink oink. I was in heaven!
