dark metallic paper

when printing on dark metallic paper - what font color do i print on it?

it seems the lighter i go the less i see wording - i assumed white would work - but its not coming up on the paper. dark color font shows up - but its so dark that you totally have to be looking for wording to see it.

what do i do?? what will work?

no - i am just trying to print @ home on a regular deskjet. i have an epson - which will usually print on anything. i just cant get a color to show up.

no - the wording is not metallic

the problem is you can't print on dark metallic paper w/out a professional printer. ink never prints 'white' b/c there's such color ink.

i would recm'd using a lighter cardstock on top of the dark metallic paper.

i would recm'd using a lighter cardstock on top of the dark metallic paper.

ie:

i did this as well for my menus, i wanted ivory to print on gold metallic paper, and it wouldnt work...so i did gold paper, as a border, with ivory cardstock layered over it, with gold lettering...
it looked beautiful
