We're thinking about change our date to Sept. 2005. The money thing is really freaking him out and it is starting to freak me out. Did anyone do this after they booked most of the big things? Was it a hassle?

Re: Date Change
I changed my date after having booked my Photo, Video, Reception Hall, and Church.
I changed it from 4/30/05 to 10/9/04 in October 2003. It was a little nerve wracking but I basically did it all in one day, in a matter of hours.
First I checked with the church and they were pretty much clear for most of Sept & Oct. Then I checked what dates were available with my photo & video. Then I called my reception site and worked with them and what I had. I was very open to anything in Sept or Oct though and that helped alot. As it turned out, someone had cancelled on the 10/9 so I got a good deal!
However, one thing you should know was that when I first called my hall and told them I wanted to change my date, the FIRST thing they said to me was 'Well, if you want to make it later, prices have gone up.' So WATCH OUT for that. If you booked in 2003, let's say, for a 2005 date and expect to rebook now for the same price, it may be difficult because these places raise their prices every year.

They were the first place I called - price is the same. Lucky me!
