omg...just found out that my FH nieces school changed their graduation date...to my wedding day...on a friday....im soooo upset because very important ppl to FH won't be able to attend...is it totally out of the question to change the date so close....to maybe next friday or even the next day saturday??? pls help with advice...

No its not out of the question. Call your RH now and see if it can be done. If so call your OOT and tell them so they can change their flights if they have already been booked.

Oh no!
You could call your RH and see....but then you have to worry about changing all of your vendors too. I feel like that is a major stress that you shouldn't have to deal with this close to your wedding.
Are the graduation and wedding going to overlap eachother timewise? Could people somehow make it to both?

nooo...and im so annoyed because it always seems that FH is second best in his family...and i know it really hurts him...time wise the graduation starts at 6 pm and our wedding at 6:30....so no theres no way ppl can make it to both...ughh what a pain in the *** to deal with now...as of now i only have a few oot guests...but i have booked all major vendors so i have to check with them as well!!

oh ok... I think it's worth a shot however trying to change every vondor of yours this close with a June wedding will likely be hard.
I don't see why they can't all go to the graduation ceremony and come a little late to the wedding. It's unfortunate but I mean you are only going to have one wedding they can go out to dinner or celebrate the graduation the following day.

not to sound rude but unless its like a medical school graduation I can not even believe you are considering changing the date. the chance of getting another date in June is very slim IMO. this is his wedding & the most improtant day in your life as a couple. if I was you I would not change anything. you signed a contract for that date, you may face some big obsticlues trying to change the date.

Is it your ceremony that starts at 630pm? Is there anyway to logistically move the ceremony up then the reception later. so that the graduation will be in between?

thats horrible sweetie:( so sorry you have to deal with this so close to your wedding.. I feel like its goin to be difficult to change your date so close to the wedding and in the month of June...the family should be able to work around the graduation and attend your wedding.. Im really suprised they do graduation so late on a friday night.. I would double check that!!

I did this about a month ago. Call you Banquet Mangager see if the date you want is open and then confrim with all of your vendors first before officially making the change. Also if you mailed STD's give everyone updated info.
