date change??!?!?!

omg...just found out that my FH nieces school changed their graduation date...to my wedding day...on a friday....im soooo upset because very important ppl to FH won't be able to attend...is it totally out of the question to change the date so close....to maybe next friday or even the next day saturday??? pls help with advice...

i wouldn't change my wedding date. it's a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration, IMO.

i wouldn't do it... its too close and will be a giant headache to change everything from vendors to invites, etc, JMO though.

I think it might be a little to close. You have to contact all major vendors and invites shoudl be done by now, so it might be hard to change it at this stage in the game.

question.. did your invites go out yet? Also, i'd find out if your MOH and BM have plans for that date. Since it's so close people might have already made other plans who are actually in your wedding party.

Imo I wouldn't do it.

a graduation ceremony in the evening? thats odd. if it were me i would change the date to the following week same day of the week, maybe that will be easier than a sat in june at this point

Most places will let you change the date to after, but not before. I would call your hall asap.

Sorry, I totally agree. I cant even believe that his family would even consider missing your wedding for a graduation. Grad is a major accomplishment, but a wedding is the most important day in a person's life. I wouldnt change my wedding, but thats JMO. If I were the niece, I would totally understand if some of my family skipped my graduation for a wedding.
