Date Drama

So when I got back to the US and settled in I thought, ok now I can get back on LIW and plan my wedding.

Now I just found out that instead of deploying next June, I'll most likely be leaving in January, coming back in June which umm would have me miss my wedding. However, I won't know for sure for a little bit and so I don't want to change all my vendors and have the dates go back to what I originally thought.

FH knew there was a small chance i may go in January instead of June, but I haven't told him that now there is a huge chance.

Now I'm back to not even wanting to think about a wedding, lol. I wish I just knew my dates for good.

That stinks. I am sorry that the joys of wedding planning are kind of being washed away for you. :(

But, I think vendors may be more willing to help you/work with you due to your reason for needing to move dates!

Ugggghhhh! There is still a chance everything might work out so I'll definitely be sending vibes for that to happen. So sorry you have to even sorry you even have to worry about this.

You can't actually take leave on a deployment less than a year long, this would only be 6 months. When I was in Greenland it was a year which is why I was able to come home. But even typically in the desert you don't have much say in 'when' that leave will be. But for this once I'm gone I'm there for 6 months straight.

Fingers crossed I find out soon.

ugh, that really stinks maybe just alert your vendors and see if they can let you know if they have your other date avail just in case! sorry you have to deal w/ this!
