I picked 9-10-11 because I thought it was a cool date lol. I actually figured out it fell on a Saturday before we were engaged and I told FH we were going to get married that day! Everyone told me I was crazy, but hey, I pulled it off!
i really wanted to book the wedding on May 29 which is when we first start dating but we got so much opposition b/c its a holiday weekend and then the hall we fell in love with didn't have that date anymore. i really wanted to do may but our church was booked with communions and christenings so we pushed it back to June 12th
Our original date was Oct 14th because it fit into our anniversary week (we met 10/10, kissed 10/12, officially made me his gf 10/16) but then we realized we would be in the middle of our first semester of med and dental school and that wasn't the best option for us... So we opted for May 14th but the 13th was cheaper... and it's Friday the 13th so that's just awesome :-P
Our date is 11/11/11- originally i wanted 5/7/11 but pricing for that time of the year at the places we liked - it wasn't happening. So we figured 11/11/11 means good luck- high spiritual number so i love it!! Its special to us now!!!

My original date was the 23rd of July and now its the 16th. There was no special meaning to the date(s). I knew I wanted it in the summer, after my b-day but before my parent's anniversary...

It is our 2 year dating anniversary. We celebrate the 18th of every month, so it felt right to have our wedding on our anniversary. It happened to fall on a Friday which was perfect.
It's not really on a special date. FH wanted it to be either spring or fall because he says he'd sweat too much in a tux during summer. October is a pretty crazy month for our family. Lots of birthdays and anniversaries and I wanted to get in on it :)
Well we started dating 9-10-03 so naturally we wanted 9-10-11 but the price for this date was ridiculous so we opted for 9-1-11 due to the price at the reception hall and it was a nice date...
We picked the date for a holiday weekend so oot guests could have a longer vacay but the date we got engaged was the grandparents anniversary
Mine was totally random...however it is the day after my parents and a week before FH's parents. But thats a coincidence.

I picked 3-11 because my mom passed away 2 1/2 yrs ago and that date was my parents anniversary (their were 40 yrs together) so I want to keep the date alive, and it brought them a lot of luck, and I'm sure it will for us too !![]()
