You really should get a poll from your invitees. Your family might take off the two days from work (thurs and fri) but others might not be able to. If you know a lot of people work late, they won't make it there. If people work early the next day, they will leave early. You most likely won't get the turnout you would for a saturday, or even a friday.
We're booked on Thursday June 2 and I think it's the best thing we could have done..we were originally going to do a Nov or March wedding and I wanted June so bad. That's when we went for the Thursday and have never looked back! We got discounts on all vendors except photography. I don't think it would matter it being right before the 4th just get those save the dates out asap! Also my gf at work's son just went to a Monday night wedding at Land's End. Point of the story is those that want to be there will be. Good Luck!!
i have a sat night in november. i had the option of sun morning or sat night but i wanted to make it most convient for my OOT guests. I also wanted a night wedding and my FH is jewish so we could not do it fri night.
