Sound advice from our sweet Michi girl! Michi is so wise beyond her years
Kristi - I probably had the worse lovelife in the world before I met my husband. You name it, I went thru it. So I know how tempting it is to want to pick up the phone and call this guy, even to just leave a little message, etc.. figuring out the 'what should I do game' when it comes to men is so hard. Its SO difficult to pick their brains and figure out what they are truly thinking about us.
I have to agree with what Michelle said ealier, and some of the other posters.. if a man truly is interested in ya, they are never 'too busy' to call. They will find a small gap to drop you a note, email or call just to let you know they are thinking about you. that's just the way men operate, they are simple creatures and if they aren't thinking about you - they won't call. If they are thinking about you - they will.
There is a great book out right now (I think Michelle posted about it a few weeks ago) written by the writers of Sex and the City called 'He's Just not that into You.' I saw some excerpts from it the other day, and its amazing. It totally nails the subject of dating and how men really think about us... and how you know a player when you meet him
On another note, I wanted to give you lots of for being an amazing person and moving on with your life. I'm sure this time of year isnt going to be easy, but you are beautiful, intelligent and strong and you will get thru this and onto happier times in your life!
