dating question about 'calling back' i hate this......

I'm 31 and feel like I'm in high school. Quick update- last Friday went out with yankee guy in city, great time- he called me that Monday since he was away for rest of weekend and then called me again on Wednesday.....

I wasn't feeling great so I was asleep and didnt pick up on Wednesday.. left a cute message. call him back on Friday and l/m since I knew he had a corporate dinner on Thursday.. And I havent heard back from him.. I know he was away on friday for business....

Do I call again?

Personally, I would wait. He seems interested, but he seems like a busy guy. I am sure he will call you when he has time.

I would call him.

ok take this from the classless dating queen, give it another day or 2 then call him! def. nice to show ur interested yet he should b polite enough to return a phone call no matter how busy he is--if u dont hear back again--forget him, one thing i have learned in this entire dating fiasco i have been on--is if the guy likes u no matter how busy he is he will make the time to call you!!! :)

I also say give it another day or 2 and then call again.

If you called Friday, I'd wait until this Friday to call again.

That's so great that you went out with him, glad to hear you're having fun

on 2nd thought, do you really like this guy? would you be interested in hanging out again? or is it more of a i can take it leave it type of situation?

if you DO like him or think you COULD really like him, i would give it until Thurs and then call back.

thanks for the advice everyone... i am going to call but ill wait until tomorrow and see if he calls tonight. It is so true- it doesnt matter how busy you are, if you are interested you have time to make a quick phone call.
I hate this! I had such a good time last week.

I'm just having one of those weeks- im not feeling good, not really civil with my ex and Im lonely with the holidays coming....

Sometimes if the guy really is THAT busy... he wouldn't mind a quick call from somebody he appreciates.

I know in the past there were times I have gotten so busy and tied up with work, this, and that, it was nice to get a call from FW (even when we were in the very early dating stage).

I'd wait a day or so.

Count me in on this answer. No one is so busy that they cannot fit a 2 minute phone call in just to let you know he has not forgotten about you.
