Now, I know this must have hurt, but I can't help but laugh my ever loving a$$ off because this is just so friggin FUNNY.

He's fine. He's David Lee Roth..this is so typical. He is so past his prime, seeing him in concert is like seeing Legends In Concert portray him. He should have stopped the sword crap years ago, along with the very unattractive scissor kicks wearing hot pink spandex.

LOS ANGELES: Singer David Lee Roth has cancelled the rest of his tour because of a martial arts accident during a concert. 'He was doing a kung fu manoeuvre (onstage) and he got hit with a staff that he uses,' spokesman Todd Brodginski said. 'He was doing a very fast, complicated 15th-century samurai move.' The former Van Halen frontman needed 21 stitches on his face because of the Sept. 17 accident in Philadelphia. He called off seven dates because of the injury. Two dates had been lost because of Hurricane Isabel. Roth, 47, said in a statement Monday that it was hard to sing and dance with the injury. 'Thanks for a great tour,' he said. In defense of DLR -- he is actually pretty good in concert - I saw him last summer with Sammy Hagar @ PNC Bank Arts Center. His body is still in great shape and he moves around ALOT, but when they panned in on his face/hairline, he looked like an old man. Poor guy...it is sorta funny...I miss the old DLR/Van Halen circa 1984.

Verdila, I went to that concert too...and while I LOVED Sammy...watching Dave was just sad for me. I just didn't think he should have pulled out the pink metallic spandex.

Oh boy I am not gonna get into this!
I don't argue with the Dave era being better...but Van Halen, and Dave...sounded the way they did because of Eddie...and no one else.
