I dont' want to spend a lot of money on a wedding dress...less than $1000, should i just go to david's bridal or are there other bridal shops with inexpensive dresses. I dont want to go to a shop and fall in love with something expensive.

David's in Carle Place was great!
I got my gown, bridesmaids, jr. bridesmaids and flower girl dresses there also.
Great selection of wedding gowns and the prices can't be beat!

I bought my dress at Davids and I wouldnt have changed it for the world! I loved my dress and I got tons of compliments on it, so many asked my MIL and my Mom, 'Wow how much was that dress?' And 'That dress must have costed a pretty penny' etc etc.

I would go to David's.. I don't understand why a lot of people use davids as a 'last resort' they have beautiful gowns!!! I got mine, there, and I love it.. I wouldn't change it for the world... Good luck
David's was the first place I looked, just to get some ideas. I went to more expensive places after, but wound up buying at David's in Freehold NJ. The people were ultra nice, and the dresses are just amazing. It was so hard to choose.
