Ok so today I got a phone call from David's Bridal saying I'm a registered winner of something. Do you think this is just a scam to get me to go there? Has anybody gotten the same call?

Hi I did a couple of months ago. I called back and it turned out to be a free makeup consultatoin. I didn't follow through with it because I figured they would want me to buy the make up or book them or something. The woman seemed nice but I was also really busy and it just didnt' seem worth it to me.
Hey Nic! I'm not too fond of David's Bridal. I would think it's a ploy to get you to come in. (Do people still say the word PLOY?) Baby brain is killing me!

Yeah I haven't heard that many great things about them either. That's why I wasn't sure if I was going to call back that way I won't get sucked in...lol

All these gimmicks out there. I got a call for some kind of gift certificate I won for some kind of laser treatment. I just ignore the damn thing.

yea be careful somehow wrong people get your name through bridal web sites, mags or even vendors and then just try and take advantage of you! be careful!

I got the same phone call like twice. I never answered my phone, let alone called them back.
