That is true - I bought mine off the rack from David's.
Most bridal places will order you a new dress..... David's is like a factory.
hmm I think I'm ok with that! I'd love if they can order a new one but if they can't and if the dress is in perfect condition I would be ok with wearing it. But I would inspect it thoroughly. They gave me one dress to try on when I was there and the whole inside of the top was stained with make up.
i got my dress there and they ordered me a new one without me even asking!!! with all the horror stories you hear about them i actually had a really great experience!!! (i went to the one in westbury and i went on a monday morning!)

im not sure about the sash yet...i loved it without it but i was thinking of getting a sash the color of the bm dresses for the reception (wine color)
I'm such a huge fan of sash dresses! I love how the colors match so nicely with the whole bridal party. I think the wine color next to the ivory will look so good together!
i know i love the way it looks too and i like those colors for the winter
thanks for your answers! the first time i went they didnt say anything about getting the dress off the rack! i was thinking of going in to try some on and i i find what i want, i will order it on-line in the size i need. this way i will def. get a new one. do you think if order it online can i get my fitting there?

thats what turned me off to davids. cause not only that but also the fact that you cant make payments on the dress unless you open an account with them. but who needs more credit cards. i didnt want to do that to mom. so we decided bridal suite cause they have nicer dresses plus you can pay it off! and the service there is great my sister got hers there and she was soooo pleased. ive benn hearing nothing but great things about them
I plan to check out Davids and I want to try on a few other designers. Like Maggie, DaVinci and Alfred Angelo. Maybe Demetrios too. Whoah that's going to be a lot of dresses I'm trying on! And I don't like shopping.
Where are the Maggie dresses at Davids or somewhere else?
its not ture..dont fall for it..i worked at davids over the summer for a little while..they only get commission if you buy off the rack so they urge you to..you can have it ordered..just say you plan on losing weight..or make something up..IT IS 100% NOT TURE LADIES!!!
