I had a great experience too. I exchanged my dress for a smaller size and they only had one left! They even held it for me.

Sorry you're having problems.

I've been on hold with David's Bridal for almost 15 minutes. Then they disconnected me.

And I all want to know when my dress is coming in! I never thought my back-up dress would be so much of a nuissance.

OK so I called the Lake Grove one and while they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay nicer then the westbury one they told me the following:

'We only accept returns in extreme situations, like if your fiance passed away and they we would require a death cert'

ARE YOU EFFING KIDDING ME!>!>!>!>

I am a bit floored....

It's definately a hit or miss with that place, I didn't have any problems what so ever with them and they were so nice at the Westbury store.

I guess you have to get lucky is all.

I got my dress at David's Bridal in Westbury. I also exchanged my fist dress there to with no problem. I exchanged it for a totally different one. They have horrible customer service I'll say that the people who work there never seem like they want to be there. I would call corp again.

I got my wedding dress there and I feel like whenever I go in there is some issue with them. When I picked up my dress and accesories they just handed me a garment bag and were gonna put in that I picked everything up and my BFF and I unzipped it to make sure everything was there and my shoes were missing. So I told them and they noted it and said come back when I get a chance to get my shoes and I'm dreading going there, even just for that.

Maybe thats why they exchanged it for you? They ordered the wrong size?

I wonder if the receipt say anything about refunds or exchanges??

it says no refunds or exchanges. It is plastered al over the walls. They will exchange sizes if need be, but not styles, and once you buy it if you don't want it you're stuck. If it's on lay away you can get your money back except like 10-20% they keep for holding/ordering it. It *****, but that's how it is. They are a bridal chain

Which David's Bridal did you go to? I know there are two on Long Island one is in Lake Grove and the other one is in Westbury. I have been to the Lake Grove store and they seem nice and the store was very clean. I am sorry you had such a problem with David's Bridal.

When I went to both locations....Westbury and Lake Grove I didnt have any problem at all in either store.
Guess its like any other place....hit or miss?

same here!
