Davids Bridal

I've been to 2 different David's Bridal locations and was amazed at the difference in professionalism. I ended ordering my bridesmaid dresses from the Carle Place location because it was more convenient for the majority of my birdal party. THAT WAS A MISTAKE!!! All dresses were paid for by Feb. 15th. I've called every week since then to get a copy of the order form. I was told everything was in order up until last night when I found out they NEVER PLACED MY ORDER! My wedding is at the end of May so I'm freaking out right now. If they didn't have everyone's payment I would cancel the whole thing and order from their location in Middletown (which more of a bridal salon than a discount center, very attentive and professional).
I just wanted to warned everyone that if you're going to use Carle Place make sure you call to follow up in evening because the day staff is terrible.

Sorry you are having a hard time with them.Speak to the manager and I'm sure they will help you.
They never called me to tell me my dress arrived like they said and it was over a month after it should have been there.I called and nobody could find my dress.I went back to the store and spoke with a manager who said to give her a week and she will find my dress.She said it probably went to the wrong store.She followed through with her promise & I picked up my dress about a week & a half later.I brought it somewhere else for alterations because I wasn't taking any chances with them.

Thanks for the warning!!! So far Carle Place has been great for me...except one woman I don't like. They told me my dress would take 12 weeks and they called me about 3 weeks later to tell me it was in.

I recently ordered my BMs dresses from there but I will call tonight to make sure all is well!!

Update on the dress situation, it gets worse!!

I received all of the paperwork for my order from the Carle Place store. The order form had the correct information however they entered the wrong order number in the computer!!! I only know this because I called their customer service department in PA (corporate headquarters) to complain about the service and to get an earlier delivery date! If they didn't already have my bridesmaids' money I would cancel the order.
