Massapequa David's Bridal is awesome, also suggest going during the week at night less crowded.
Stay clear of the one in Westbury I had the worst experience at that one....

Re: David's Bridal

I'm not a fan of DB... My friend is using the Lake Grove one for her wedding dress and the bm's dresses... They don't call you when the dress comes in, but you're just supposed to know to come in and then take it home with you. It was in in Feb and the wedding is in November! Before I had a chance to pick up the dress, they gave my dress to someone else!! I am so skeeved out by that. They didn't check the size before they gave it to her, and she brought it home, tried it on a few times and then realized it was a size off from what she ordered.. Then they told her she had to bring it back to get hers and couldn't give it to me.. That was about 2 1/2 months ago and they haven't called ONCE to let me know the dress is in or tell me about the mix up.. I thought it was so horrible what they did, and I will be calling them soon and giving them a piece of my mind.. The nerve to not tell me a brand new dress I purchased went home with someone else, plus the house it was in for a week has smokers in it.. ugh sorry I really dislike the place

Re: David's Bridal

The dresses were nice but I didn't like the service in Lake Grove. And I had a MAJOR issue come up - they ordered my sister's dress in the completely wrong size. Like, not even close to her size whatsoever. And they said they couldn't reorder it because it wouldn't be there in time for my wedding. She was supposed to be in a different color for my wedding because she was my MOH but she wound up having to choose a different dress that same night in the same color as the rest of the bm's so she didn't stand out like I wanted her to.

So needless to say, I would NOT recommend the Lake Grove location but I have heard good things about Massapequa...

Re: David's Bridal

I like david's bridal for bridesmaid dresses. I prefer to go through racks myself and pick out what I like rather than having a consultant go through with me. I know what I like, so it makes it easier for me to pick out things myself, and said my bm to the dressing room to try them on
