David's Bridal

Has anyone used Davids Bridal? I'm considering booking an appointment for my bridesmaids and I but have heard some bad reviews before. Thoughts?

i know a few girls have had bad experiences... but the only time ive ever had a bad experience with BM dresses was at Macys of Manhasset... Ive never had a problem with DB... I went to the one in Westbury, the one in Massapequa is great too

They have nice things there but they are ALWAYS busy!!! Even if you make an appointment, they dont dedicate enough time to you....my consultant was always off helping other people! I ended up not getting my dress there!

But I went with my FSIL to try on BM dresses and they left us alone which was nice in that case.

I went to the one in LIC and had no complaints..they were not pushy at all but they do not store your dress which was a problem for me

I got all my bridesmaid dresses from them. We went to the one in Massapequa. To be honest I only liked one person there. Her name is Rosa.

I'm currently having issues with my dress which I also ordered from there. Basically they promised me this dress on the day the dress was being discountinued and now the dress is kind of in limbo. They said well if we don't end up getting it no big deal you can just pick out something else. That twisted me the wrong way.

I'd still recommend them for bridesmaid dresses though. They have a huge selection and mine came in in about 3 weeks.

The people I know have used the Westbury Store and loved it! One actually left the Lake Grove one for that one..

I love Rosa too! She is so awesome, I highly recommend her. I went on a Friday and the place was EMPTY, I was able to take as long as we needed for my dress and BM dresses, Rosa made the experience awesome. Personally I did not like the one in Westbury at all and dont think it can even compare to the one in Massapequa!

love the massapequa store! wayyyy less busy than westbury.

got all of our bm dresses there! took under 6 weeks to come in! have had no problems so far! let's hope they fit since all the girls are out of town and country and sent me their measurements!

I got my dress at David's Bridal. i'm also getting my BM dresses there too.

if you're going to Massapequa ask for Lauren, she's really good.

For bridemaids dresses I say check it out.. . I've heard good things about the one in Massapequa...I went to the one in LIC for a friends wedding , and we were not impressed... Depending on taste and you and your wedding style you can find something that you may like and its not too pricey.. however I wouldnt suggest alterations there ,i've heard of some experiences ...i would also say my wedding date is a month or 2 earlier :)

We had a terrible experience at the one by Smithaven Mall for my friends wedding. All we ordered was wraps from them, they couldn't even get those right

I went to the DB in Long island City. I had a great experience with them. No problems here

David's has nice dresses. However I did not find my dress there.
My girls are going to either Massapequa or the new one in the Source Mall in Westbury. They are both good.

I bought my wedding dress there and I bought my BM dress from my MOH's wedding there.

I was happy with the service in the city when I bought my BM dress and wedding gown, but I didn't like the service when I went to pick it up. I didn't use there alterations dept because I heard terrible things about it.

Don;t go to the Lake grove store and total frustration and waste of time. I actully am getting my dress from the massapequa store. They are soo nice and helful there.

I went to the DB in Yonkers and thought they were very nice there and had a great selection of both Bridal and BM dresses. The one in LIC I was the least impressed with. Never been to the Massapequa one but I may go there with my girls when we go look for their dresses because I have my eye on a few DB dresses I like for them and I heard the best reviews about that store.
