davids bridal

okay I'm trying not to cry......

my cousin's bridesmaid dress doesn't fit it's 10 inches too small. she never thought to try her dress on until now

davids bridal discontinued the dress.... and all the ones she called say they don't have it. we're going to look at westbury on the rack anyway just to see.

what can we do? will they let us exchange the dresses for new ones if we need to change them? or will they not do that because it's a discontinued dress?

I'm freaking out.

I don't have any experience with David's Bridal, but was it their error that the size was so wrong? To not fit by 10 inches is an insanly large amount and I would think if they ordered wrong they have to do everything in their power to make it right. If she just decided to order small in the hope of losing weight or something they probably wont be able to help much since its your BMs fault.

Worst case they can probably order your BM a similar style and color from the same designer in time if you talk to them ASAP. If she has to pay for a second dress so be it if it was her own fault.

Also, my cousin had a corset put in the back of her BM dress to give her more room when she found out she was pregnant so that would help a little but probably not the 10 inches you are looking for...

we went to DB and she needs to go there and try on the dress in any color and find her size now. she's 16 so she grew a chest lol. then they will order it from a store anywhere in the country that has it. my aunt could have easily gone with her & done that on her own without saying a word to me.

even the girls in DB were like why did she tell you and get you involved and stressed out? just annoying and something I didn't need today.
