David's Bridal Alterations

Hi I have a question about David's Bridal Alterations. I have ordered my dress from there and I call this weekend telling me that my dress is in already. They want me to come pick it up. I have to keep it in my closet. Now will it chane color and about the alterations...i've heard they mess up alterations. I have gotten my dress at the david's bridal in Astoria, Queens so has anyone gotten their dress from them? if yes did they mess up your alterations.

I bought my dress from David's in Carle Place, I met with the lady who did the alterations and saw her work-room, crazy, there were hundreds of dresses, they were very unorganized, I would be scared to leave my dress there. If you can bring your dress home and take it elsewhere for alterations. Hope this helps a little.

I bought my dress there. They made me take it home when it came in too. I'm taking it somewhere else for the alterations because I heard stories about them and I got scared. I figured it would be safer to bring it to a smaller store for that. I don't believe it would discolor. I have it in a garment bag.
