Just curious if anyone got their dress altered at Davids Bridal. Specifically the NYC location. I LOVE my dress but dealing with Davids Bridal has been kind of an awful experience and I'm really nervous to let them touch my dress...especially because it's a hard dress to alter (its the White by Vera wang gown with the swirly layers) and because it's so big on me as well..They are going to need to take it down a full size really. (I needed the next size up because of my chest =/

I got my alterations done at the DB in Massapequa Park. They really did a great job with my dress. You can always look for an outside place if you aren't comfortable with david's doing it.

I know someone that specialized in DB dresses and works from her home - an adorable older italian woman - she is doing my gown - FM me if you want her info.
Shes located in Bellmore.

I had a great experience at DB in Westbury. I will admit that u should try to go during an off hour b/c they can be really busy. But they did a great job on my dress.
I personally wouldnt go to an outside tailor. At least I feel if a DB seamstress destroys my dress they hafta give me a new one lol
