David's Bridal Disaster sorry long story

Hey girls,

You will not believe what happened to me today. I wanted to die. Me and FMIL went to David's bridal in Carle place ( i think) in the source mall. Well, long story short. We are browsing thru a ton of dresses in the catalog and I found 4 that I really liked and wanted to try on. Well, I found this one in particular by Oleg Cassani
How freaken horrible they did nothing to accomodate me at all. Other than give ******** excuses. After I fell in love with my dress and for all this time that it would be no problem to get it.

Sorry it's so long I had to vent about my horrible experience.

i hate DAVIDS BRIDAL!!! they have caused to many girls on here such trouble! im sorry they were not able to accomodate you! good luck however continuing you dress hunting. im sure there is something out there that you will love just as much if not more.

I'm so sorry to hear...from all the horror stories I heard on here I'm not even going there to look....eventually their bad rep will catch up with them and put them out of business.

I'm so sorry you had to go through all that.. I went there and they were really accomodating.. but since I hear the horror stories I really don't want to go there unless it's for BM dresses.

that's horrible. what if you go to a different david's bridal. maybe another branch has it in stock?

I was thinking that too - if you have them call around and see if anyone has even a clean sample that they have to sell you in that particular dress.

Im so sorry this happened to you! I found a dress that I absolutley LOVE from Davids Bridal but I really dont want to have to deal with them b/c of sh*t like this that I've heard about!

well they checked in the system and there was only 2 left in the country so they called the 2 stores. The only store that had it was in florida and it was a used display dress. I just couldn't believe they were so rude. To tell me to buy the used dress and pay for shipping to my house. Plus, god forbid anything was wrong with it I was stuck with it. UGH!!!

I'm sorry that stinks that you found THE dress and you can't order it. That's why I am not going to try on any dress out of my price range because I dont want to fall in love with something I can't have. They should know what they have available. Maybe you will have better luck somewhere else. Try Phillis of Bridal Elegance (I think). Many people here rave about her!

I'm so sorry for you that really *****..maybe try looking on ebay or something like that for it..My sister went to that Davids Bridal and they were so rude to her she walked out after about an hour but I went to the new one in Lake Grove and they were great. I had my dress ordered within 2 hours. Guess it just depends on the people. Hope all works out for you!!

I think David's Bridal's biggest downfall is they are never apologetic for their mistakes. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced in a long long time.

...and I have news for you...I don't find them any cheaper.

aww im soo sorry!! did you try some online stores? some of them actually carry davids bridal gowns, that you may be able to purchase it through them

Did you try looking up the designer??? I already found my dress in 2 stores and know of a ton more... if it is a designer they might sell that dress to other stores!! try a google search on the designer!!! Good luck!
