How is the Davids Bridal in Westbury. Im going to get my BM dresses there. The one in Queens is kind of run down and doesnt have much of a selection..

I was just there last week just to try on dresses. It seemed pretty nice inside...I have never been to another ...I thought the BM dress selection was pretty large. I wasn't thrilled with the cus service...she was pretty short with me in the beginning but she warmed up to me after a while, maybe i got her at a bad moment.

I went there to get a BM dress and while they were really nice, I've heard some horror stories about their alterations. A friend of mine was picking out her dress and her BM dresses and heard a girl in tears that they totally screwed up her dress and the wedding was taht weekend.
ETA: I went for my dress and the ladies just were of no help I got yelled at for not havingan appointment and looking the night before with 3 of my girls, and we werent trying stuff on! So I made an appointment for the next day and ended up doing everything myself anyway. The only thing they did was give me a bustier and crinolin.

Don't know much about it except it is always really crowded. They just opened a new one in suffolk by the smithvaen mall.

My SIL got the BMs dresses and her dress there. I was only involved with getting my BM dress, and I don't have any complaints about the service or the alterations.
It was always pretty crowded when I went, though, and I can't comment on how they are when you go to look at the dresses. Our dresses all came in on time, etc.

when i went to get my dress, the lady that helped me sucked, when i went to look at brides maid dresses, I had someone good....She was very help full, and didn't pressure us to buy. Her name is Sheri Hinds and her hours are sun 11-6, mon 4-9:30, tues off, wed 10-5, thurs off, fri 10-5 and sat either 10-6 or 2-8

I would avoid David's, especially there, at all costs..the dresses are crap, the service is awful and I'm sure you can do better anywhere else...good luck!

i ordered my dress from david's. had no problems with the customer service or alterations. i had a beautiful dress. my dad said with what my dress looked like, he thought it would be much more. i would go there
