Davids Bridal question

Davids Bridal question

My friend just asked me to be part of her bridal party and picked out a possible dress from Davids Bridal. Only thing is that it has no sleeves which I am uncomfortable with... does anyone know if a bridesmaid dress from Davids Bridal doesn't come with a shawl, if it can be bought seperately? Obviously, I would only wear it when the time was right but I would like something to put over my shoulders/arms if possible...

Thanks

My BM's got their dresses from Davids Bridal and my MOB feels uncomfortable about showing her arms as well. The tops are strapless. So for her, she ordered an organza wrap to cover her arms. Davids Bridal offer Tafetta wraps, organza wraps, even sheer organza jackets to cover your arms for those who need a little more security in those areas. And they look nice with the dresses. Hope that eases your concern.

Not doing seperates but some kind of wrap or jacket would be great! Makes me feel better :) Thanks girls!

BTW-- can you find any of these on the website?

My BM dresses are from there and they come with shawls which all of my girls want to wear.

Is she a really close friend that you can confide in her? I originally wanted strapless and 2 of my bm's told me they would wear it, but that they would feel uncomfortable. I took their feelings into consideration and chose a dress with cap sleeves. Maybe you can talk to her about this. Good luck!!

I got my BM dresses from there and some of the dresses I saw there come with shawls and then you could most likely order one the same color as your dress for some of them if not all so don't worry you will be fine.

I think majority strapless/sleeveless dresses come with shawls for that reason. And if it doesn't you could definitely buy one to match.

Well, she knows that I would prefer sleeves (I've mentioned it in passing) but I think she figured it was easier to just pick something out. I can deal as long as I can find a wrap or shawl... Worse case scenario, one of the other BMs has a big mouth and she will probably say something!!! LOL

Anyone have the link for the jackets/wrap/shawls or are they in with the dresses?

Victorian Lilac-- very pretty!!!

I am just planning to have it when I am not in any kind of obvious position... like during the ceremony and pictures... More for the reception and anytime in between so I feel more comfortable. I know they have wraps on the site, you can see them with the dresses but I didn't know if there was a seperate area for jackets ands tuff...
