does anyone know how often they discontinue bridesmaid dresses. i have mine picked out and i have color in my wedding dress so my girls have to be in these dresses. i have 11 months to my wedding so i don`t know if i should just have the order them now to ensure they`ll have the dress i want or if it will be ok to wait a few months.
2nd question is my FH`s sister lives in FLA and she`s a bridesmaid but she might not be able to come for the wedding, her graduation may be the same day!!! (this annoys me because i already chaged my date for her once to accomodate and then she told me she was wrong after i booked!!!) so i don`t know what to do about her. have her order a dress that she may never wear or risk them not having the dress when she does actually know when her graduation is!!!

First I'd say that the dresses are discontinued after a while- there's new ones coming out though. I know that you got about 11 months but it usually takes about less than 4 months to get the dresses in once you order with David's - so they would have the dresses for 7 months before they need to wear them.
Is there another style that David's has that you can have them wear if the one that you want will be discontinued?
As for your sister I'd still have her get the dress just in case she can make it- if she doesn't wear it she can at least possibly make use out of it?

well the dresses i picked really work with my dress they are the colore that i have in my dress and they are stapless too. there are a few other ones that would work but i love love love these!! and yeah i`m sure she`d be able to make use of it it`s a tea length dress so it`s not overly formal, she`d find a reason to wear it i`m sure.

I'll be really honest I'd have them order it now (but ask if there's a possibility of discontinuation anytime soon of that style). I'd say also have your sister order hers if there's a way that she can wear it for something else.

ok good! i`m gonna do it asap!!! just because it will ruin my vision if they don`t have those dresses! and as for his sis. she`ll have to get it and maybe they`ll take a return or exchange if she doesn`t want to leep it if she can`t wear it

Glad I can be of some help- also let them know (since David's doesn't store BM gowns) that they're going to have to store the gowns (the BM that is) for a while..lol Still ask if that particular style is going to be discontinued any time soon.

i went in to davids today and asked about the dress i chose. they are in the fall collection so i have untill october before i should even worry about them being discontinued. i still think i`m going to have my girls get them early maybe august?
