Joey and Dawson have not spoken all summer. They see each other while he is in town (he is making a movie with that guy Todd, the producer who fired him last year). Anyway they final sleep together. next day Joey finds out that Dawson has been seeing someone during the summer. She is upset, they fight, he says a lot of stuff that make sense about that he loves her etc..etc...and that has always been her that leaves, not him (all true), well she cannot get over the fact that he didn't tell her about some meanless girl back in LA. Ends with tears and a sappy song- nothing new there.
I am getting a little POd at the writers. It is getting old. We all know this is the last year of the show so I wish they would aim a bit higher and stop repeating the same old story line!

I was happy to see those two FINALLY hook up, but all the boo-hooing is just as irritating as always.
Oh well.

HELLO!! Did he have to mention th whole you broke my heart w/ Pacey???? Dawson is SUCH a loser!!!! If it wasn't for Pacey, Joey & Jack I'd wouldn't be watching the show!!! How cute was that guy that was hitting on Jenn?? He had that whole 'Griffin from Party of 5' look!! I'm loving that!! And Pacey looks better then ever! Jenn hasn't looked good in a while! Maybe it's the bangs??

Michelle Williams hair was absolutely GROSS! How could they let her step in front of a camera??? But, that guy hitting on her was very yummy!
Joey should get over that girl in LA - it's so STUPID! I mean HELLO? It's not like he said he was in love with that girl. He told her that she meant nothing.
I think the writers need to get with it already. I mean if this is going to be the last season, they need to come up with something better than this whole tortured love/relationship btwn Joey & Dawson - I mean it's sooo overdone already!
If they're gonna keep them apart, I think they should make Joey get pregnant and then they'd have to get back together & realize their love for one another. (well, just a suggestion) lol
And I do agree w/IrishTracy that Dawson is a loser for bringing up the past - that had no bearing on his point. It just made it like he was still obsessing about it.

Well I missed the first 40 minutes on the show, but thank goodness it was a two hour special. Well Joey really annoyed me last night, didnt she have a fling over the summer too and would any girl really say that when she really wanted to be with the guy 'it was just two friends making a Big mistake' and then go to bed and cry. I know I would go back or call him right away cause us girls usually give in to easy but Not Joey, Never. I will still watch the show but yes it is getting old.

Also Jens guy, I think he is Eric from Days of Our Lives, Marlena's son - Sami's twin brother, not positive but it really looks like him.

Claud2001 -- Great quote about the show. This totally applies to the Friends first episode as well. You think Ross and Rachel will finally be happy together again, and new plot will be developed -- but then Ross gets all hurt and boo hoo because she's wearing the ring. Give me a break. I missed Dawson's last night, and now I'm kind of glad!!!

I am glad I am NOT the only one who actually thinks about what is wrong with the show. I don't believe that Katie Holmes will be back next year. No matter what the website says. I think it is better for their careers to end this season anyway since the writers cannot come up with anything challenging or even remotely new.
Joey getting pregnant - and NOT having a miscarriage- would be great. What would she do? Scrap college and have the baby or have an abortion (I am NOT looking to start a debate on here about the issue). Then there is always the sexual assualt eposide that they have not done yet.
Let's hope the season gets better.

I watched bits and pieces (and I taped it!) I can't agree that Pacey looks good. This whole he is going to be a businessman thing bugs me. He was much cuter as a hopless romantic/underachiever.

As for Jen.....good god did she put a bowl on her head when she cut those bangs. They didn't even look like her real hair.

I hate Joey with Dawson. She needs to be with pacey. And that Audrey girl is a nighmare. And I am sorry but the Osborne kid? Now we are reaching.

I think we should send this thread to the Dawsons website. We have some **** good feedback here!

Oh and don't they ever get tired of hanging out with Grams?

Jens guy is the guy from Days of Our Lives. What annoyed my about Dawson's was the coming attractions. They show Joey and Dawson emailing each other. They just had a big falling out and next week they are emailing each other like nothing happened. Whats up with that?

No matter what happens they will always be friends. Though it is sad!! And Pacey does need to be w/ Joey. I liked Audrey when she wasn' t w/ Pacey. Pacey has lost that adorable thing he has that makes sad woman like me swoon!! But he's still HOT!!

I can see him & Jack getting into ALOT of trouble at their new place! They are so funny together!
