day 2 of new job....

soooooooooooo i started homecare for my neighbors mom who has cancer....i'm a nurse and they needed someone to stay over night just to make sure she's OK for a few days or weeks or whatever. Well...last night went great except for the fact that if she calls me i can't hear her and she frequently forgets my name...and she'll just call out 'good moooooooorrrrrnnnnnnniiiiinnnnnnng' to try to get my attn instead lol.....well between the fan in the hall and her AC i can just about hear her if i'm wide awake. If i'm sleeping--forget it. Well---we picked up a baby monitor for tonight to see how that goes. Let me just say---there is no way i'm ever going to be able to be a mom i think. When a plane goes over the house i hear it twice and with a delay lol. Oh well....at least if she needs me i'll be able to hear her.
I give all the mommies out there credit--these monitors are super annoying.....
