Re: DAY!
I am getting married on a Saturday night.
As far as sunday weddings, I have only been to an afternoon wedding on a Sunday and it was nice, I will say it was alittle more low key than the Saturday or even Friday night weddings I have been to but I thought it was really nice!

I am getting married on a Thursday. In all honesty it doesn't matter what day you get married. If people care and want to celebrate your wedding they will be there even if it is on a Monday . I've been to a Sunday & Thursday wedding. If i know it'll be a late night i would take the day off after or just suck it up.

Re: DAY!
i like sunday weddings. i've been to a couple, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. they were both great, and i really don't think people mind that it is on a sunday. a wedding is fun no matter what day its on.

Re: DAY!
Kelly - don't fear, I got married on a Sunday at the Westbury Manor and it was AWESOME!! Everyone cared less what day it was- if your friends and family are there to celebrate, it doesn't matter.

I am getting married on a Sunday afternoon. I originally wanted Sat afternoon but they were booked so we went with Sunday. I agree that whoever wants to celebrate in your day will be there irregardless of day.

Sunday, I wanted Saturday but there was a difference in price. Although it really doesn't matter too much because it's labor day weekend, so a lot of folks should have off the following day.

Re: DAY!
Friday night. Couldn't meet Saturday minimum requirements 'cause we wanted a small, intimate wedding and didn't want to pay for empty seats.
I would agree that Sunday weddings are a little more low key in comparison to Sat & Fri nights. But it's individual - depends on your crowd and your entertainment (band or dj).

i like sunday afternoon weddings. it really doesn't matter to me the day bc if it's a local wedding- i don't mind getting back late. and if it is not local, i'd just take the day off of work. plus it adds excitement to an otherwise blah sunday.

I'm getting married on a Friday night but I see nothing wrong with Sunday weddings - I'm actually going to one this Sunday evening and I'm taking a vacation day Monday to 'recuperate'

Sunday at 11:30AM... I can't wait. It'll be nice, give people enough time to come in on Saturday, and then hopefully people will be able to drive home Monday (Columbus Day)
