I'm getting married on a Saturday but I would've gotten married on a Wednesday for all I care. FH was the one who insisted on a Saturday which is more money...*sigh*.

we are a sunday evening. friday was out of the question b/c we are jewish, and we were pushing it with the time on sat night so the only option for us was sunday. and i am sure we will have a kick-ass wedding even on a sunday!

Friday night, I want a while weekend of partying!
Only kidding, it was less expensive than a Saturday night and I wanted to spend the weekend with my out of town guests, like my friends from college who live all over the US.

I am having a sat night wedding, I would have liked a friday to save some $$, but I have too many guests traveling from out of town, that it would have been too much of an inconvienence for them. If everyone was local than friday it would have been!

Saturday night here, but we picked the winter so that we'd be able to do that. FH is a big partier and wants to drink heavily and go out with friends to a bar afterwards, so Fri or Sat it was. I've been to lots of Sunday night weddings and it didn't seem any different to me. Also been to Monday weddings on Holidays, and again, no difference. Like others have said, if they love you, they don't care when it is and once they're there, they'll have a great time!

I must agree with May2704 Bride, for, I too, am getting married on a Thursday.
Today's Brides no longer need to get marriend on a Saturday or a Friday. Any day that you decide to get married would just as special...
