Day after brunch question

Day after brunch question

Day after brunch is scheduled at hotel where OOT guests are staying. Only immediate family and guests staying at hotel are invited. Apparently, my hotel is now booked and my room block expired.

If my guests are now staying at another hotel because they're stupid enough to wait until last minute, do I still need to invite them to brunch?

we had the same thing happen. i have no idea why people think the date we indicate on the invitation means nothing, but whatever.

we are inviting them to brunch.

but this is coming from a person who booked a hotel room for my sil block on the last day.

btw, we got fcuked because they only had double bed rooms available. we had to pay more for a king size bed
nothing like waiting till the last minute

I understand your thinking and, normally, I would probably agree. These are all people who told me they were coming yada yada yada. Arranged for shuttle service, OOT stuff, the whole 9 yards. I'm so angry that I'm not 100% sure what I want to do.

I still had people book after the hotel block expired. The hotel was very accommodating and nice that they still upheld the block price.

But to answer your question....I would just invite them as a courtesy.
