Is anyone doing day after wedding pics? We're going to do this but not excatly the next day, more like the next month lol. I'm looking forward to getting to wear my dress for a second time
Any good suggestions for a location??

I decided recently that I think I want to do this too! I saw some really cool pictures with the couple in actual waterfalls and stuff!!!

My friend who did my e-pics is going to be a day after shoot with us. I'm actually going to try and plan it for sometime in September/October of 2011 because I would really like to get Fall pics in my dress.
Not sure yet if FH is going to do it with me or not (it's totally his decision) but I am definitely going to do one. We haven't talked about locations yet but I know she will come up with a great location.

I am doing them but more like a few months later than the day after. Since our wedding is in the winter and so late at night we wont have any day pictures. One of our photographers who also is a friend of FH is going to do our shoot in like May or June when it starts to warm up.
I would like to do something with water but i want more than just the beach seeting. I am looking for a location also maybe with a waterfall or some rocks.

Yup I am doing a trash the dress sesh about as soon as possible after the wedding bc i want it to be nice oout : )

I am doing this as well, I saw some nice pictures of the day after. I think i will be more relaxed and not worried about getting my dress dirty. I saw some nice beach pictures and the city :)

We are doing this when we get back from our HM we our going to westbury gardens and then we are doing the trash the dress after that

I'm def doing one. I love the edgy, hard ones after all the romantic sweet wedding shots!
My photog recommends doing them close to the wedding because he likes when couple are still on that 'high.' I can't wait!

Crashing here!!! Just got back the rest of my TTD pics!!! Love them! We did them with Lovemore Photo about 2 months after the wedding. It was such a great experience. Lovemore was extremely reasonably priced, so much fun, and so creative. I couldn't have been more pleased!!!

ETA: I contacted about 10 different companies so I have tons of info/pricing. I think they ranged from $300 - $1500!!!

It was $350 for a 2 hour shoot (which turned into a 3 hour shoot) and that includes rights to the photos and a disc with all high-res. images!
ETA: And dolores- my dress is still in excellent condition!!!

OMG!!!! there are two pics that i think are breathtaking. the first is the first pic where you are just laying down in the water and its black and white. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! the second is where its just a pic of your face and it comes in different finishes (black & white etc.) and you are directly facing the camera. GORGEOUS!!!!!! and thanks for the info!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about doing this.
We were planning on a 12:30 ceremony (at RH) and the CH & Reception immediately following. Didn't want to see FH before hand; and was trying to figure out a way to get all our pictures and make some of the CH to greet guests. So i thought about going to OWG the next day (or a few weeks after) to take some pictures we might not have a chance to get that day.

really?!?!?! Thats awesome news. I wanted to do trash the dress after I watched some marry me in mexico show and they were in the water it was so beautiful! I just always wanted to have to show my daughter (if i have one) one day and she could have the option to wear it alter it do whatever to it if she wanted to. But if it can be prefessionally fixed I would totally be down for trash the dress pics!

Absolutely- there's no tears, it's a little dirty but that's on the inside and it's no dirtier than it was from the regular wedding day wear, and just a little sandy. Once I have it professionally cleaned it'll be perfect!
