i did it because i absolutely loved my dress and i didnt get any of the artsy photojourinalistic (sorry i cant spell) shots that i thought i would have been getting so i wanted to get them.. i did them alone DH didnt want to do them. it was more for fun then anything but i LOVE having pics! it was in no way to try and recreate my wedding day!

people do it for different reasons. One girl on here did it bc she didnt like the pictures her photographer took so she hired another photographer to take day after pics. Some are rushed that day and find they dont have as many pics as they'd like with their FH or enough portraits. The day can go by fast so theres some pics you might not get

I took them for FUN period!!!!!!! And it was, and I am very happy I got to wear my dress again!

I am taking them because i want to. I loved my dress, and i really want to play around and wear it again. I want to take differnt style pics.
I love my wedding photos, but i was very hot the day of, and i feel like maybe i will be able to concentrate better and have more fun with it.

Nicole, it's so much fun to do a day after shoot!!! FIRST...you get to wear your dress again...SECOND...you get to sit in dirt if you want and THIRD...you get to ENJOY it and RELAX!!!!!

Yeah!! I will think about it. FOr me... My church is at 3...gets out at 4:30 Sun sets in Nov at 4:37 on my day. If I want pics with FH outside...have to do it early. I am already going to salon at 9:30am so how much earlier could I start.
Maybe I will do day after myself also to get those fall shots...I doubt FH would do it again though.

NO, I DON'T THINK IT IS A BIG DEAL, WAS JUST WONDERING WHY???? IS IT A BIG ADDED COST????? DO THE FH GO TO MOST OF THE TIME?????????

I'm considering doing them becuase our wedding day poured and we rushed through pictures. I just want to find someone to do it thats not super expensive. I think its a really fun idea.

you get nice portraits without having to rush bc you want to get to your party. I'm still undecided about my location and my fotog is loving the idea of trash the dress, but i dunno if i want to muck up my dress i hope i could clean it right if i do.
