day after wedding help

FH and I are waiting to go on our honeymoon until April(getting married October). He is in school and I won't let him take a semester off. My question is . . . I am looking for ideas of what to do the day after our wedding! Just the two of us!!! I thought a wine tour would be nice, but he thinks it's too expensive . . . . Any ideas?????
Thanks :)

Where are you staying the night of your wedding? Maybe you could do a bed and breakfast? What is in the area?

personally, i wouldn't want to go drinking the day after the wedding. I'd want to relax. You could get massages or something to relax.

We aren't going on a trip till 2 weeks later so we are getting the bridal suite at our hotel for an additional night to relax and enjoy away from home.

Yeah i dont think your going to want to be drinking either-- I say either relax in a hotel room away from everyone else or go to a spa!

We went to Atlantic City...the drive was annoying..but we spent the day there relaxing and we went out to a nice dinner...

Wine tours aren't expensive if you drive yourselves. You could stay at a B&B out east (there is one that is also a winery) and just visit a couple places and sit there and drink a little wine and soak up the scenery! A tasting is usually like $5 and a glass is about 5-10. October it's still pretty nice out there, there may be some harvest festivals going on too.
