Day at the Spa w/ MOH

My MOH has been wonderful, and although my wedding is not for 5 1/2 months, I would like to start planning something special for she and I. I would like to do a full day of beauty with her a few weeks before - all I could come up with is Elizabeth Arden Salon and Day Spa in NYC. Any other suggestions? We live in the Huntington area, but NYC is fine. Thanks!

I went to the Avon Spa in NYC and it was soooo nice. They have a package that includes facial (ask for Sacha), massage (ask for Paul), manicure & Pedicure for $240 or something like that. By the time I walked out of there I could barely move I was so relaxed

I want to do something like that for my MOH also:)

If you have the money, what about Gurneys out on the island. take a weekend together.. or go to the hamptons together during the summer as a last single vacation!! make sure you go to ALL the parties!!!

Soho Sanctuary is special - and all girls! I also love Carapan, but not so much to share w. a friend. Kind of more for just one (like perfect for you a few days before the wedding)

Bliss and Oasis are two great spas in the city. Or you could try Maximus in the source mall (and there's other locations on long island).

If you are in the city you can try elite day spa or Elizabeth Arden. I went to Elizabeth Arden twice once with my Fi for his b-day and once with one of my BM for her b-day. My friend used Elite for her and her BP and she loved them. I am going to be making an appt for myself and my girls for the day before the wedding at Elite 212-730-2100

When I was the MOH in a friends wedding, I took her to Dorit Baxter Spa in NYC. They had a wedding package that includes 1 hr facial, 1 hr massage and 1 hr sea salt scrub (amazing!) for around $150. You really can't beat it. Check them out. I think they have a website. Good luck.

Enchante Salon & Day Spa is nice, in Smithtown. They offer a full day of pampering: massage, facial manicure, pedicure, etc., plus snack/lunch. I heard that if you have a party of 4 or more (I think) the bride gets 40% off. It sounds good to me! They very reasonably priced too.
