Day before the wedding..

what types of odds and ends were you working on... I am OOT and am only coming to LI the day before the wedding so I am just trying to anticipate what type of things I may need to do in advance. Thanks!!h

I did nothing the day before the wedding, except for mani and pedi.

i went to see my & the BM's bouquets ...

honestly, i think that was about all i did that was wedding-related.

oh, and pack up last-minute things that i want with me (my vows, phone numbers, schedule of times, my 'survival kit', envelopes with tips, etc)

i did nothing!

packed my bag and made sure i put what i wanted all in the same spot!

oh, i made my last wedding DIY project! my thank you parasol! which was good cause i couoldnt fall asleep right away so it kept me occupied! overall, very relaxing!

Went for my mani/pedi and then went to Victoria's Secret to look for last minute bridal panties

Then met my BM's at the hotel with my mother had a few drinks, went out to dinner, and then went back and crashed.

I picked up my dress b/c I couldn't pick it up the day before, dropped by the florist and saw my centerpieces and went to the hotel to drop of my OOT bags. I also dropped off the programs with my DH's family since they were going to be at the church first. By mid-afternoon I had nothing to do and while it was nice, it also made me really antsy - so make sure you have something to keep your mind off of things, even if it's just hanging out with your BMs or family.

I'm OOT for my wedding too (getting married in CT). I'm going up today, and here's my schedule for the rest of the week:

Today: final meeting with RH
Tomorrow: meeting with bakery, out to dinner with some family and friends who are coming up
Friday: lunch and mani/pedi with my mom, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner

I'm beginning to think my wedding date was poor planning... the day before we'll be eating Thanksgiving dinner!

But the Wed before, I plan on mani/pedi and dropping off to the RH all the stuff I have for them.. and picking up my dress..

I think that is a great way to spend it. There is nothing you can do except enjoy your day with family!!

I am planning a spa day for all my girls and family that want to join us.

I was OOt too. On the Day before I had a spa day with the BMs. Then my dress was picked up (and nearly destroyed..long story). Then we checked in to our hotel and had our RD later that night. I also packed my emergency bag and pre-sorted all my tip money and payments that night as well.

day before the wedding we drove out to LI and checked into the hotel. We just hung out with some of our bridal party/family that got there that day and then had the Rehearsal DInner that night.

we had everything else done at that point.

dropped my dress off at RH where i was getting ready and picked up my bubbie from the airport.

I spent the night with friends and family and then girls sleepover!

I basically did nothing the whole week leading up to the wedding actually.

mani/pedi, wax, checked into the hotel (brought over all the stuff), picked up my dress from MIL's and went to mikveh (unless ur Jewish u really dont need this LOL)

I didn't really do anything the day before. We had the RD 2 nights before. I got my nails and toes done with some of my bms. Then relaxed with my hubby all day doing nothing, until he left to sleep at his mom's. I was sad to be without him and nervous! But we just relaxed and talked and tried to stay calm and not freak about the weather. When he left, I watched tv with my sister and mom and took a PM to try to sleep!
