day in NYC

Hello girls!
i am planning a day/nt in NYC
we r going to see a show and i want to do a horse/buggy ride around central park---any recom. on a good company/service or do you just get any carriage that is there? what is the cost? where is the location for these rides by central park??? and any good suggestions on a reasonable $$ hotel in the theatre district--the ones i have looked into are $250 or more.....is that a good price? TIA!!! i am so excited!!!:)

the horse and buggys will be parked around the part closest to the Plaza Hotel. No need to make reservations, just 'hail' one.
As far as hotels, $250. is pretty much standard..you wont find anything much less than that.
