Day of..

I'm doing my own CP's. I don't want the flowers to look like a$$ by the time they are set up the next day. How do I avoid this? DOC are way over priced, so I'm not fond of spending $500 on someone to just do my CP's right and have the menus on the freaking plates.

I am doing my CP's too. My RH told me that I can bring all of the stuff the day before and show them how to set it up and they will take care of the rest.

can some of your BMs or family go to the RH early and set it up? I know the Banquet manager will do it too if you give him a tip

I was seriously debating hiring one of you guys

I don't want to burden my BP the day of, because they'll be to busy take back a few with me

. I guess I should just speak with my BM then

You never know....some past bride may want to DOC that day as a business venture. Ask around...Also checkout craigslist. I found people willing to do it for free.

I asked a patient that I speak to if she would be interested in setting all that stuff up for me. I offered her $150.00. It was alot cheaper than hiring a DOC. See if someone you know who is not invited to the wedding would like to make some quick extra cash.

wow that is awesome of them....

I also am doing DIY CP's not sure how this works at my venue, if they dont/wont I will have to figure something out

I hired a DOC at the last minute and it was the best $$ I spent. The girl who I booked was amazing! Not to mention her price was incredible! She can work with you!! Her name is Cynthia Ross and I just can't say enough great things about her. This is her website...its worth a shot asking how much she would charge for that.
