Re: Day of coordinator??????

I know alot of 07 girls used one, including me...to me it was money well spent since i didn't have to worry about a thing....and she made sure the entire day went smoothly...check out my review if you'd like...

I used Laura from LA Productions and would highly recommend her!

I also used Laura and she was fabulous. Everything ran without a glitch (that I was aware of anyway and that was the point of my hiring her). I would absolutely recommend her. She made sure I was very organized and she was on top of everything. I had a large wedding with more than 250 people and not one thing went wrong.

That being said, I definitely think a DOC is more of a luxury than a necessity. If you are an organized bride, you may not need one. If you have a mom that can't relax and needs to do everything, like my mother, you don't need one. My mother definitely felt like her MOB shoes were being stepped on b/c her 'jobs' were done by the DOC (most people would appreciate that but my mother complained. That's her favorite pastime). So if you are up in the air b/w this and something else, like a better photographer or upgrades for your music, then I would say forego the DOC. JMO
