i was just talking to one of my bms about wedding stuff and told her i was probably going to get ready at a hotel or something that day (ceremonys in queens where we all live and rh is out in nassau later on) because my apt is not good for pics and my mom lost our house like 2 yrs ago now and fh's fam just moved into an apt where like 27843273470238 of them live..so i figured hotel is my best bet..but she was like noooooo why don't you get ready here omg you have to blahblah..she lives in a really nice house and i would loveee that...but do you think its weird if i get ready at her house?? i dont know why i feel a little weird but i would love it at the same time...

I think that's fine. However, if you are close with your mom, I might ask her what she thinks, esp. since she just lost her house fairly recently. I know that might sound silly, but I can see my mom saying that it would upset her.

i don't think it's weird but if you're having doubts i wouldn't do it bc you're going to have pictures of you in her house forever, and if you're doubting it now you're going to forever

its on you. a lady i work with did that also.. she was going for a hotel and another co worker offered her house it was beautiful and she went for it.. if you can be comfy with it then go for it it saves you money and also if its beautiful makes great for pics.

i know i wanted to cry, because she's been sooo nice with everything having to do with the wedding (which usually she's usually umm opinionated and not nicely lol) but she's been the best..i feel bad i guess because her and FBIL have been together 10 years and currently on a big break, so i feel bad like it should be her doing this 1st yakno

I would definatly take her up on the offer. I think getting ready at her house would be easier for everyone- especially with more space.
