Day of Gift

I'm not sure if FH is getting me anything.... sometimes he is clueless, however, I bought him an Invicta watch off Rue La La. I'll also pay for an excursion while on the HM - I know he's dying to see the Mayan Ruins.

I know a lot of girls on her are doing B-pics...

I don't think we are really doing gifts. If we are something super small. We are paying for 95% of the wedding ourselves so why go all out and spend even more on a gift for that day. I'm not exactly sure of the purpose of the gift really. He's like I got you a ring...I have to get you another gift too?!

I saw that little love book that someone else posted on here...may just do that or the game over shirt for him to wear the day after the wedding.

However, I told him I'm going all out and buying him an amazing gift for our 1 year....he has no idea...but his dream was to fly jets in the air force, but he never could have because he doesn't have perfect vision. So I'm getting him a flight in one for one year

Omg!!! That is freakin amazing!!! Where are you doing this?

My FH is such a dork and always wanted to be like Tom Cruise in Top Gun...but couldn't because he has really bad asthma. Can you fm me info on this and how much it costs? Doesn't sound cheap but he would love that!

That's a cute idea!

our honeymoon was really expensive too and we said that was our gift to eachother DH did buy me gorgeous amythest & diamond earrings but he gave them to me at my shower. I felt a little bad not doing anything at all so I am getting him his second wedding band, a plainer one that he can wear doing chores, gym etc. we are picking that up this weekend.

so no day of gifts for us!

This made me laugh.. My FH said the same thing. he said I got you a ring, where's my gift?

we are not planning on exchanging gifts either. i was thinking of pulling a sneak attack & still giving him a gift but I don't want to make him feel bad. i wanted to get him engraved cuff links for the day of since i can't afford the gold rolex he wants

oh and a really nice hand written card.

we're doing gifts but small ones

i did bpics and a book (cost about $150 total), a groomscake ($100), and i bought him a $60 watch to wear the day of

we didn't do gifts - we paid for the whole wedding ourselves and our HM was outrageously expensive.
we did treat ourselves - very nicely during our HM - so i guess that was like our gift to each other.
However, DH did send me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers the day of our wedding with my florist with a gorgeous hand written card.
