DAY OF HAIR AND MAKE UP

Girls- Did you go to the salon on the day of to get your hair and make up done or did you have the MU artist/hair stylist come to where you were getting ready?

I didn't want to have to be driving around that day - I'm having someone come to do hair and makeup.

im having my hair done at the salon! from my parents house its about a 10 min drive, i wouldnt go much further...but i guess depending on how much time you have to get ready it doesnt really matter!

I had it done at home. .or rather at the hotel and was SOOOO happy I did. I had all of my bridesmaids and my mom there and it was such a nice opportunity to be together and relax. . we all had hair and MU done and then were able to get dressed and leave. . i loved it that way. .

so it just depends though on how you want it and if it is just you or you and others etc. .

I wouldnt want to travel too far bc it all ends up taking longer than you think and it could make you crazy

I'm having hair & MU people come to me-they are prob doing other members of the bridal party too so we are getting good rates. So much easier!

dont be nervous @ all! My sister went to a local salon the day of, they did a fantastic job on her! i would have gone myself but i need people to come to me b/c my ceremony is at 10:30am so i need to get ready extra early

I'm going too - my girls are meeting me there too. My last 2 girlfriends that got married went to the salon also. No need to worry! It's more common than you think.

I'm going to the salon for my hair and the makeup artist is coming to the hotel to do my make up.

I had my hair and makeup ppl come to us. I was afraid to drive around on my wedding day lol. It's more money that way but it's worth it

I am having my hair and makeup done at my home, but for my sister's wedding I went to the salon and it wasn't too bad, salon was less than 10 minutes from my home. They did an awful job lol, but that's besides the point.
